Welcome to the Shorebird Metric Century 15,35, & 65 Mile Bike Tour, benefiting the American Cancer Society!

This route takes advantage of the lightly traveled roads along the Eastern Shore of Maryland, specifically those the the southeast of Salisbury, Maryland. This year's ride is in Honor and in Memory of all those touched by cancer.

The Ride starts at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, Home of the Delmarva Shorebirds, at Route 50 and Hobbs Rd. From there riders will traverse the picturesque roads of the Pocomoke Forest. The route will include two fully stocked rest stops. The first will be a Furnace Town, and the second at Buck's Country Store. Both add historical merit and true eastern shore flavor to the ride. The Metric Century will make it's way through both rest stops, and then continue in a figure eight back to Furnace Town, before finishing at the stadium.

Upon completion of the ride, complimentary lunch will be provided at Perdue Stadium. Lunch will be served from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Remember, we offer the 15 mile ride, so feel free to bring the whole family! The route is designed for everyone from the first time cyclist, to the veteral peloton.
